Corrections and takedown policy

People rely on Zoloth to reach their panchayat, so getting things right matters to us more than anything else. This page explains how we fix mistakes, how residents and officials can add information, and how we remove information when asked.

How to report a mistake

Use the "Add or correct information" form at the end of the page that's wrong. Tell us what should change and, if you can, how you know: a government notice, a result sheet, a letter or your role in the panchayat, for example. You can also write to subhashxchaudhary@gmail.com.

What happens next

How we decide what to publish

Official sources come first

Where an official source exists, that's the reference. A resident's correction can update a figure when evidence backs it up, such as a newer notice or result.

Clearly labelled

Every figure shows where it came from, so you can always tell an official figure from a correction our editors verified.

No personal opinions

We publish facts about places and public offices, not opinions about people.

Removing a contact number or name

Officials and residents can ask us to remove or correct a phone number, name or other detail about them. Write to subhashxchaudhary@gmail.com or use the form on the page. We remove personal contact details on request, usually within 72 hours, and keep the official office contact where there is one.

What we never publish

Fixing our own errors

If we spot an error ourselves, we correct it in the next data update, and the page shows the date the data was refreshed. Significant errors in a guide are fixed as soon as we find them.

Not satisfied?

If your correction or removal request wasn't handled, write to our grievance officer, Zoloth, at subhashxchaudhary@gmail.com. We acknowledge grievances within 72 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
